Dear St. Mary's School Parents and Guardians,
Next weekend I am excited to share my wedding day with the St. Mary's community. As you might have heard, Saturday May 28th, I will be getting married at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Obviously this community holds a special place in my heart, but it is also my fiance's alma mater and the place where we first met five years ago. All St. Mary's School families are welcome to attend the church ceremony next Saturday at 1:30 PM.
Our community has experienced an uptick in COVID-19 cases in the past few weeks. Please continue to follow health and safety protocols to keep our school community safe. For example, students are asked to wear a mask if someone in their household has tested positive. Additionally, if your child has a fever, vomiting or diarrhea, please keep them home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medicine. Thank you for helping to keep our entire school community healthy!
Due to the increasing temperatures, students may elect to wear their gym uniforms to school for the rest of the year, expect on days we are attending mass. We also encourage families to send their children into school with water bottles, which they can refill throughout the day.
Please join us for the 19th Annual L. Scott Cuomo Golf Tournament on June 23rd at Van Patten Golf Course. You can find a paper registration form here or use an online register form here.
Each year our school calendar allows for three emergency days built in. This year we only used one of those days. Therefore, school will be closed on May 26th and May 27th for an extended Memorial Day weekend.
Thank you for your continued support, Mr. Matthew Rucinski |
