Thank you to our school families who made our entire faculty feel so appreciated this week! Whether you sent in a donation, brought in goodies or helped setup for our luncheon today, on behalf of our entire faculty: THANK YOU!
Due to the increasing temperatures expected next week, beginning on Monday, May 9th, students may elect to wear their gym uniforms to school for the rest of the year, expect on days we are attending mass.
Each year our school calendar allows for three emergency days built in. This year we only used one of those days. Therefore, school will be closed on May 26th and May 27th for an extended Memorial Day weekend.
As our school continues to relax our COVID-19 protocols, it is very important that we have your support in following our general health and safety policies. In particular, if your child has a fever, vomiting or diarrhea, please keep them home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medicine. Thank you for helping to keep our entire school community healthy!
On a related note, having your child attend school attending school when they are healthy is still very important! While last school year NYS relaxed its attendance mandate, this year students may not pass to the next grade level if they have more than 40 absences. Please reach out if you have any concerns about this attendance requirement.
Thank you for your continued support, Mr. Matthew Rucinski
