Message from the Principal

Dear St. Mary's School Parents and Guardians,

I hope your family had a blessed Christmas season and I wish you all a Happy New Year!  We look forward to continuing to safely offer in-person instruction at St. Mary's School in the new year.

As always, please monitor your children for symptoms each morning and keep your child home if they are sick.  If your child is restricted from school with either a positive test result or a symptomatic exposure, then remote learning will be offered for the duration of their restricted period.

St. Mary's School is preparing to launch a Test To Stay Program.  This will program will provide asymptomatic school-based close contacts to avoid school exclusion by testing negative through serial testing during a seven-day period following exposure.  We are working closely with the Saratoga County DOH to secure enough test kits so that student and staff testing can be another layer of our mitigation strategy. Stay tuned for more information regarding this update in the coming week.

Our Discount Card Fundraiser will continue through this week!  More information can be found here.  There will be prizes for top selling students and teams.

Please make sure your child comes to school with boots when there is measurable snow on the ground.  Our weather policy is that students are able to go outside for recess as long as the wind-chill is above 20 degrees.

Mr. Matthew Rucinski
