What a great start to the school year! Thank you for sharing your children with us each day.
In accordance with New York State guidelines, St. Mary's School may need to test our students to ensure that our school remains in-person this school year. I ask that you read the letter regarding in-school testing and complete and return the student consent form. I will be announcing if and when in-school testing will begin and no student will be tested without parental consent.
You may have noticed that our Fall Open House was initially scheduled for next week. This event will be rescheduled for a later date. More information will be forthcoming.
The first PTO meeting of the year will be held on Monday, September 20th at 6:30 in the Parish Hall. Are you looking to volunteer this year? Come learn about all the ways you can get involved.
PTO will be selling beautiful large mums tomorrow, Saturday, September 18th staring at 8:30 AM. Mums are $15 each and will be sold in front of the Parish Hall. Thank you for supporting school fundraisers!
Please make sure your family has created a FACTS SIS account. This will replace PowerSchool and will become the way you see your child's grade book, order lunches among other things. We will be testing our emergency notification system through FACTS SIS next week.
School Lunch Program will return on Monday, September 20th. Ordering must be done through FACTS.
You may have noticed that Papa Joe has not been patrolling his corner this week. He is currently recovering from a medical condition. The students sent cards to him this morning and we continue to pray for his recovery each day.
School Uniforms are available through our School Store. Gym uniforms, school polos and our brand new quarter zips for Middle School students are now available. If you would like an updated school uniform order form, you can access that by clicking here. Some pieces are on backorder and we apologize for any delays.
Sincerely, Mr. Matthew Rucinski
