Message from the Principal

"Reach each child, teach the whole child"
Dear St. Mary's School Parents and Guardians,

We are still experiencing a great interest in the upcoming school year!  If you need assistance in registering your children for next year, please do not hesitate to reach out to the office.

For the upcoming school year there will be more financial aid opportunities than ever before!  Interested families can apply for the Beacon of Hope Scholarship before April 1st.  This scholarship is available to returning students in grades K-8.  I strongly encourage all of our families to apply.  It is my goal to make a St. Mary's education attainable to all families and applying for this scholarship is the first step.

We are still accepting new students for the upcoming school year.  Please remember that any current family who successfully refers a new family to our community qualifies for a referral discount off of their tuition.

I would like to provide you with a few updates and reminders below:

We will be celebrating our Diocesan Art Show on Thursday, March 25th.  During the Morning Meeting, a video of all our students' artwork in Grades K-8 will be shown.  That video will also be posted to our social media pages as well.  To celebrate our artists, we are asking students dress up in their favorite color for a school-wide photo shoot!  Please take a moment to read this note from Ms. Verdile.

The deadline to register for transportation for the upcoming school year is April 1st.  Registration information can be found on your home district's website.

The forms for health examinations that NYS requires have changed.  Please use this new
NYS Health Examination form for your children's regular physicals.  Additionally, please use the Health and Dental Examinations form provided by Nurse Ann.

If you plan to travel over the Easter break, please reach out to the school so we can best advise you.  While the travel restrictions have been lifted for vaccinated individuals, they still apply to our students.

The deadline for ordering yearbooks has been extended until March 31st.  Please see the information below on how to order your yearbook.

If your son or daughter has a CYO uniform from last season, please send it in to the school.  We are still awaiting to hear if there will be a CYO Basketball season this year.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Mr. Matthew Rucinski
