"Reach each child, teach the whole child"
Dear St. Mary's School Parents and Guardians,

I would like to provide you with a few updates and reminders below:

Quarter 2 ends on Friday, January 29th and report cards are scheduled to be sent out the following week.  Remember that all families have access to PowerSchool to preview your children's grades.  If you do not know your credentials to access PowerSchool, please reach out to the office.

Catholic Schools Week begins next week.  We have worked hard to create a week that honors our Catholic identity and traditions while also keeping our students safe.  We have built in Dress Down themes throughout the week, which are listed on the graphic below.  Any grade-specific information for that day will be sent home through your child's homeroom teacher.  The Spelling Bee and Volleyball Game will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and then posted to our YouTube channel.

Registration for our current families is scheduled to begin on Friday, February 12th.  On that day you can expect an email with the "State of the School" address that will invite you to begin the registration process.  As always, our families will have two weeks to register before Open Registration begins on Monday, March 1st.  We have had prospective families touring our school daily since the new year began.  It is truly an exciting time to be a part of this growing community.

The winter season is upon us!  This year especially, giving our students the opportunity to get some fresh air is very important.  Students will go outside for recess as long as the wind-chill is 20 degrees or above.  Please make sure that your child comes to school appropriately dressed, including hats, gloves and legs covered.  Students in Pre-K through Grade 4 should also bring snow pants to school when appropriate.

Thank you for your generous support of Mrs. Green during Green Week!  If your family would like to continue supporting Mrs. Green and her family, you can sign up for the Green Team Meal Train by clicking
here.  Thank you for your support.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Sincerely,
Mr. Matthew Rucinski
