Elementary School - Grades K-4
Step foot inside St. Mary’s school and it takes but a moment to notice the difference a faith-filled Catholic education can make. Our faculty knows and cares about each and every student and our students know and care about each other. Our safe and nurturing atmosphere enables our students to excel intellectually and thrive spiritually. An outstanding academic program combined with the moral foundation of Gospel teachings creates the ideal learning environment.
Students in our elementary grades spend most of their day with their primary grade teacher. There, they will receive instruction in our core subjects: Mathematics, Science, ELA, Social Studies, and Religion. They will also benefit from creative and innovated instruction in Fine Arts (Music and Art) and Physical Education. Students in Grades K-4 also attend weekly Spanish classes.
Our small class sizes enable us to provide the small group instruction each child needs to succeed. Our curriculum is aligned with the new Next Gen Learning Standards and the Diocese of Albany Catholic School standards.
To be placed in our Kindergarten program, students must be 5 by December 1st and pass our screening.
